Pixel Touch: Improving the Contrast and Tonality of Your Photos Using Levels in Photoshop!

In this video tutorial I will show you how to improve the contrast and tonality of your photos; simply by using levels adjustment.

By sliding in the black and white point sliders of the levels adjustment layer; we can achieve instant improvement of contrast to your photos!å

I normally use this method in the beginning of the retouching process flow of my projects.

New Photoshop Blog! PixelTouch!

If you do follow IdolRetouch closely; you will know I've been putting this off for quite a while (more than a year).

Introducing a new blog that yours truly created: A Photoshop Blog (and Illustrator); that showcase some of the simple techniques and tips that I used in all my graphic work.

Retouching, graphic design, digital imaging, you name it. I'll cover it.

I must say I'm no Photoshop expert; but i do love to teach people new stuff; whether they are new to the program; or just learning the ropes.

So do give the site a visit; and take a look at the video tutorials I've created. (5 Lessons so far). I'm using a pathetic microphone; and do suffer from "stage fright" so please be forgiving ;)

Do give me some feedback (positive or negative).

Cheers; and happy learning!

PS: Please spread the love and links around; I do appreciate some link love! :D

Anamboy! Oh Anamboy!

I think by now everyone knows who "Anamboy" is.

If you don't; he is the guy behind the lens for some of the excellent photos posted here at IdolRetouch.

I'm a big fan of his photography work.

His photos are always top notched; and well, shooting the breeze with these gorgeous Korean Models is an added bonus!

His favorite model? I'm thinking KRQ Hwang In Ji (황인지).

Download this album upload to see how lucky this guy is :)
