1000th Post! Kim Ha Yul (김하율) Specials!

I'm thinking which model should I showcase in IdolRetouch's 1000th post for quite some time.

Final decision?

Presenting to you: Arguably one of the prettiest model on the planet: Korean Racing Model Kim Ha Yul (김하율)!

What will you find in this special Kim Ha Yul (김하율) Goodie Pack?

• A set of gorgeous high resolution wallpapers!
• A set of GelaSkins! (for 15" Notebook, iPad and iPhone 4!!!)

So enjoy! Yahoooo! :D

BTW: I wanted to have a more darker, grungy organic feel to this set of artwork.

I really like Kim Ha Yul in a more natural simplistic look; with minimal makeup... Thus the photo choice.

I know grunge theme artwork isn't really popular; but it's just me ;)

Original photo credited to the photographer; I just do the artwork! :)

Part 3 of the Super Triple Shot Weekend with Hwang Mi Hee (황미희)! Sliding Hands to Heaven! Large Poster Print and Wallpapers!

Part 3 of the Super Triple Shot Weekend with Hwang Mi Hee (황미희)! (Donors/Supporters/Friends Exclusive!)

Theme for this digital artwork is "Sliding Hands to Heaven".

A4 Poster Print

What inspired this theme? I was having a light-hearted conversation with Mavy about the perverted danger of sliding one's hands up those gorgeous legs of Hwang Mi Hee... when the idea just popped out!

It's a must to make a digital painting on her in a school-girl outfit (She is the BEST in that outfit hands down!) And sliding those hands up those lovely legs seems the most inviting in this painting! ;)

So, dear friends, donors and supporters; this is specially for you!!!

Check your emails for the linkie to download this set of goodies which includes:

• A4 Large Poster Print at 150 dpi resolution!

• A T-shirt Print!!! Yes, I've inverted it horizontally.. Just print it out on your desired transfer and iron it on!
• iPhone 3GS/3G Skin!!! You can buy custom made GelaSkins now! Just upload the skin (in png format)
• 15.4" PC & 15" Mac Book Pro Skin! Same instructions as above!

Sneak Peek: The next idol to be featured in a digital painting artwork will have an "ass", which I think that Al Pacino describes the best; as in the movie by Michael Mann, "HEAT"...

Part 2 of the Super Triple Shot Weekend with Hwang Mi Hee (황미희)! "Keeper of the Stars" Large Poster Digital Painting and Wallpapers!

Part 2 of the Super Triple Shot Weekend with Hwang Mi Hee (황미희)!

In case you are wondering what song's mushy lyrics are from this time, yes, it's from the Singapore's local band Tokyo Square's love ballad: Within You'll Remain.

Awesome combo of lovely zither and western style flavour bring this song smoking to the Top of the Pops, back in the 80s.

Incredible song!

• 1280 x 1024
• 1280 x 960

I also made a skin for 8.4x5.5" Netbooks, for Yu Yamada only. File is saved as a uncompressed TIF file.

Enjoy all!!!

Just in case anyone is wondering what song the lyrics is from, this song is from Singapore's own short-lived rock band "The Black Sun", titled "Love You Now".

I remembered listening to this awesome rock ballad on the radio back in the early 90s, 1991 in fact, when schooling. This song hit the No.1 position on a very popular local station then, and smoked the MTV Asia top 20 charts.

I also made a skin for 8.4x5.5" Netbooks. File is saved a a uncompressed TIF file.

Sizzling Seo You Jin (서유진) Wallpaper and Skin Set (Version 2)!

A big thanks to visitor Danny for contacting me, and commenting on my previous wallie work on Seo You Jin (서유진).

The picture I used for SYJ doesn't do justice to the wallie, so I decided to do a version 2 for that 'highly energetic' theme.

Thank goodness for layers in Photoshop; a minimal work is needed to get a new Seo You Jin wallie smoking again!

It seems that grungy, messy themes that I like, is a turn-off for most visitors. :(

Hopefully the new picture that I chose will change some tastes along the way. ;)

Resolutions available for this version 2 wallpaper set:

• 2560 x 1600
• 2560 x 1440
• 1600 x 1200

I also made it into a skin for 13.3" & 14.1" PC laptops; and 13" MacBooks.

Thanks again Danny. I love feedbacks.

Idea for Gadgets skins scrapped 90%

Based on the poll that I ran almost a month ago, I conclude, based on the rather poor response of votes, and the percentage of votes that tell me "I shouldn't waste my time"; that I should forgo this idea almost all together. (I take partial blame for the fact the poll is "discontinued" from time to time when I'm upgrading the outlook for this blog.)

However a good chunk of votes goes to "PC laptops", so I will still selectively craft up skins, just for this gadget range.

A new poll coming up soon, one that will not be so boring as the last. It will be on Korean (Scooter)Race Queens!

Look out for it!

Nails for breakfast: Seo You Jin (서유진) Wallpaper Set!

Wonder if Seo You Jin (서유진) eat nails for breakfast before going for the photo shoot as a fighter?

I try to portray the rawness of her as a fighter in this wallie set. (I toned down the rawness eventually, She's a mighty fine lady after all.)

Dimensions available for the wallie set, which includes 3 different versions:

• 2560 x 1600
• 2560 x 1440
• 2000 x 1600
• 1600 x 1200

Theme for this wallpaper set is: vintage, retro, grungy and urban style!

Lee Kyeong Min (이경민) Skins

Remember the very first 'alpha skin package' on Kim Ha Yul that I released about more than a week ago?

Well, I decided to release another 'sample of skins', this time on cutie Lee Kyeong Min (이경민); based on the wallpaper I've made here.

This time the package contains JPEG and PNG files for the following gadgets:

• 13.3" & 14.1" PC & 13" MacBook and MB Air laptops.
• iPod touch Generation 2 Front and Back covers.

Previews as follows:

13.3" & 14.1" PC & 13" MacBook and MB Air laptops.

iPod touch Generation 2.

Download the skin package here.

Lots of custom-made skins services available on the web. One of them is Schticker.

Don't forget to vote! (Right side column of blog) This is just the alpha stage, if response is bad, I will just drop the skinning work all together.

Kim Ha Yul (김하율) Wallpapers and Skins (new)!

It's YAHOOOOOOO time for Kim Ha Yul (김하율)!

I'm trying something new beside doing just wallpapers and large poster prints.

Introducing "skinning", for your high-tech gadgets; putting your favorite idol on your laptops, netbooks, i Phones etc..

With many websites providing custom skinning for your high-tech toys, like Schtickers, you can bring your favorite idol with you anywhere!

I need feedback regarding skinning. I want to know if it's worth the time to do it. If the response is bad, I will just drop it all together... (Note: I don't earn a single dime from all this "skinning" work)

So please take some time to vote. (Poll is on the right hand side column of the blog, you can choose more than one option!)

I'm using Schtickers website as an example for skinning for an Apple's i Phone 3G.

Schtickers' website interface for your custom made skins.

The final preview before you buy! KHY is looking so fine!

The "alpha phase skinning package" includes the following for Kim Ha Yul:

• Front and back skins for Apple's i Phone 3G.
• Skin for 13.3" & 14.1" PC laptop & 13" Apple's MacBook and MB Air.
• PNG(uncompressed) files provided together with JPG high-resolution files.

Feel free to use whatever "Skinning Service" you deem better. Feedback most welcome! :)

Ok now back to the KHY wallpaper for today, dimensions available:

• 2560 x 1600
• 2560 x 1440
• 2000 x 1600
• 1600 x 1200

I've included 2 versions cause I couldn't get the required vibrancy of the wallie when I set it to as my desktop wallpaper. So I just included 2 versions, just use which one you deem fit.

Theme is "Blue Waves" with an "American Idol" stage look with neons and special light waves dancing around Kim Ha Yul.

Sidenote: Special thanks to Virzil for his outstanding photography work on Kim Ha Yul. I extracted the model and blasted her into this piece of artwork which I'm quite pleased with!
